The problem
The spec covered deposit boosters, a bespoke design service, VR property tours, access to build progress with outlines, and snagging and issue reporting. Individually all sensible. Together, a list of features with no obvious relationship to each other.
Buying or building a period property is already an anxious, months-long process. An app that presents six separate tools makes it feel more complicated, not less. The work was finding the single journey those features sit inside.
Six unrelated features resolved into a single journey through the buying process.
What I did
The full feature list went into several rounds of wireframes, driven by user research and data rather than the order the features arrived in. Iterating at that stage is what turned six tools into one journey, and it happened before a single screen was designed.
This content is dense: build progress, outlines, snagging lists, property detail. A clean, modern interface with real typographic hierarchy lets someone digest it in a spare ten minutes rather than needing to sit down with it.
Snagging is the feature that earns daily use and it’s the one people avoid if it’s awkward. Reporting an issue was designed to be quicker than sending an email about it, which is the only bar that matters.
Dense property content designed to be read in short bursts rather than studied.
