AI MVP Fix
You shipped fast with Cursor, Lovable, Replit, Claude or another AI build tool and it works. But the interface still feels generated, the flows have drifted and the details that make a product feel finished are missing.

The process
I go through what exists, find what’s leaking users, redesign the parts that matter and leave you a system so it doesn’t drift back a month after you ship again.
I go through the product the way a first-time user would, then with the scrutiny of someone deciding whether to trust it. I work through the agreed priority flows and identify where people are likely to hesitate, get confused or leave.
AI builds the happy path quickly and often leaves the awkward moments behind. Empty states, errors, permissions, loading, repeat visits and failed actions are where real users expose the gaps.
The visible part: typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour and density. These are the things that make a product read as considered rather than generated. This is the step that stops people bouncing before they’ve tried anything.
Without this, you’re back where you started within two sprints. Your team or AI tools can build against tokens, components, spacing and patterns, so the next twelve features look like they belong to the same product.
The handoff needs to work for however the product is actually being built. I organise the Figma file with clear components, variables, spacing and behaviour so developers can implement it accurately. Where AI coding tools are part of the workflow, the file can also be structured so they work from the real design system rather than guessing from screenshots.
Where useful, the Figma file can also be structured for AI-assisted implementation workflows such as Figma MCP.
Why it needs doing
The problem isn’t that AI-built interfaces are bad. It’s that they’re all the same one, and being indistinguishable is worse for a startup than being ugly.
Same layout, same components, same spacing, same shade of indigo. Users have seen it fifty times this year and they price you accordingly.
Empty states, errors, permissions and second sessions were never designed. Real users find them in the first ten minutes.
Twelve features added in six weeks, each one reasonable on its own, none of them agreeing on where things live or what a button means.
Nine button styles, four spacing scales, three type ramps. Every new screen is a fresh set of decisions and they never quite match.
It technically responds. It doesn’t work. And most of your traffic is arriving on a phone.
Investors and enterprise buyers read polish as competence, fairly or not. Rough edges cost you the meeting before the product gets a chance.
Scope
The core service is product design and UX/UI cleanup in Figma. Development itself is not included.
Need build support too? I can work directly with your developer, review the implementation and help keep it close to the design. Development itself is not included in this service.
Why me
I use the same generation of tools. Speed was the right decision. This service fixes the part speed tends to leave behind.
Including six years as lead designer inside a team of around thirty, mostly engineers. The designs are made to survive implementation.
More than three million downloads across products I’ve built and run myself. I know what happens after the Figma file leaves the designer.
The Figma file is structured so developers and AI-assisted workflows can work from a real system rather than guessing from screenshots.
A defined cleanup usually takes one to two weeks. Larger products are scoped separately.
You leave with components, patterns and rules that help the next feature look like it belongs to the same product.
Questions
Send me the link, the repo, the Figma or a Loom of you clicking through it. I’ll tell you what I’d fix first.

Not by default. I look at what exists first and keep whatever’s working. The point is to save the momentum you’ve built, not to restart for the sake of it.
The core service is product design and UX/UI cleanup in Figma. I can support your developer during implementation and review the finished frontend against the design, but development itself is not included.
Yes. Where AI coding tools are part of the workflow, I can structure the handoff with design rules and implementation guidance so the build lands closer to the design.
Where useful, a Figma file can be structured for AI-assisted implementation workflows such as Figma MCP. It lets compatible tools work from the real variables, component names, spacing and layout rather than inferring them from screenshots.
It is an optional handoff advantage, not a requirement for every project.
Most defined AI MVP Cleanup projects take around one to two weeks. Larger products are scoped separately.
From £2,500 for a defined cleanup. Larger products are scoped after I review what already exists, and you get a fixed price before anything starts.
Yes, and I prefer it. I’ll walk them through the files, stay reachable during the build and review the front end against the design before you launch.
That’s often the actual brief. Demo-critical flows, the screens that end up in the deck, and enough polish that nobody asks whether you have a designer.
Figma files you own outright, a design system, implementation specs, and a product that looks like a company built it rather than a weekend.
I’ll tell you when I review the product rather than trying to force the wrong service. Sometimes the right answer is a larger project or an ongoing Design Partner engagement.
