How Pocket Pixels collects, uses, and protects your information across our website and apps.

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Who we are

Pocket Pixels Ltd (“Pocket Pixels”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a product design studio based in the United Kingdom. This policy covers pocketpixels.co and all apps published under the Pocket Pixels name on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Our registered address and contact details are available on request at hello@pocketpixels.co.

What information we collect

Website

When you visit pocketpixels.co we may collect:

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referral source, collected via server logs and analytics.
  • Contact data: your name and email address if you fill in the contact form.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell any data to third parties.

Apps

Our apps are designed to work with the minimum possible data. Depending on the specific app, we may collect:

  • No account data: most apps require no sign-in and store all data locally on your device.
  • Purchase data: if an app includes in-app purchases, Apple or Google processes the transaction. We receive only confirmation that a purchase was made; we never see your payment details.
  • Crash reports: anonymous crash diagnostics may be sent via Apple or Google's built-in reporting systems if you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers on your device.
  • Analytics: where apps include analytics, these are aggregate and anonymous (e.g. which features are used). No personally identifying information is collected.

Each app’s App Store and Play Store listing includes its own privacy nutrition label reflecting what that specific app collects.

How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries submitted via the contact form.
  • To understand how the website and apps are used so we can improve them.
  • To diagnose and fix technical problems.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal basis for processing (UK & EU)

We process your data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests: analytics and crash reporting to maintain and improve our products.
  • Contract: processing enquiries where you have asked us to provide a service.
  • Consent: where we ask for your consent before processing (e.g. optional analytics in apps).
  • Legal obligation: where the law requires us to retain or disclose information.

Data storage and retention

Data collected through the contact form is stored securely and retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up.

Analytics data is retained in aggregate form and not linked to individuals. App data stored on your device remains there until you delete the app.

We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK or EEA except where necessary to use third-party services that operate globally (see below).

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, or any advertising network on this website or in our apps.

Cookies

pocketpixels.co uses only functional cookies necessary for the website to operate. No advertising or tracking cookies are set. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting core functionality.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Data portability where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.
  • Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pocketpixels.co. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
